Em 1979, comemoravam-se os 20 anos do Mini por todo o mundo. Em Portugal para assinalar essa data a British Leyland Portugal, mandou fabricar uma série limitada de 85 unidades do Mini Sport 1100, com venda exclusiva para o mercado português. Foram homologados na DGV com o Ofício n 908 de 18/01/1980. Contava, de série com banco tipo backet, jantes Cosmic de 10"X6", 2 faróis de longo alcance, abas de guarda lamas tipoWood&Picket, escape de 2 saídas, arco de segurança (roll bar) de 4 apoios, volante Springalex de 3 braços e logotipo na mala do Mini Sport. Este Mini sempre de garagem, esteve na posse do anterior proprietário durante 25 anos, sendo o 3 dono. Nunca restaurado, por isso em estado original na quase totalidade. Modelo muito, muito raro. Para conhecedores.
In 1979, the 20th anniversary of the Mini was celebrated all over the world. In Portugal to mark that date, British Leyland Portugal ordered a limited series of 85 units of the Mini Sport 1100 to be manufactured, with exclusive sale to the Portuguese market. They were approved by DGV with Official Letter 908 of 01/18/1980. It featured, as standard with a backet seat, 10 "X6" Cosmic rims, 2 long-range headlamps, Wing & Picket mudguards, 2-way exhaust, 4-bar roll bar, 3-arm Springalex steering wheel and logo on the Mini Sport bag. This Mini always garage, has been in the possession of the previous owner for 25 years, being the 3rd owner. Never restored, so in almost original condition. Very, very rare model. For connoisseurs.
