Stranded in a lost prehistoric land after a plane crash, Roger Drum earns the name Thunda as he battles warring native clans and monstrous reptiles. In his following adventures, Thunda faces mammoth-riding monkey-men, greedy hunters, and uranium-hungry communists, and adopts a sabretooth tiger he callsSabre. All are illustrated by Frazetta with his usual wealth of exquisite detail. Although Frazetta did many comics early in his career, this is notable for being the only complete comic he drew from cover to cover.
